Fitness Class Descriptions

ABS

Abdominals are the star in attraction in this intense 15 minute workout.

BALLET BOOTY

Ballet booty is a total body workout that uses ballet moves, pilates, core work, and light weights for a total body workout.  It's set to great music and is performed at a speed to maximize calorie burn.

CARDIO SLAM

This class combines a variety of cardio styles including step, bosu, kickboxing, agility drills, and more! Adapted to every fitness level, this new class is an exciting workout to challenge your cardio fitness!

PILATES

This mat class will improve muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall joint mobility. The exercises reduce stress, increase energy, and increase stamina. Small apparatus are used in some classes.

PIYO

Strong, dynamic, fluid approach to mind/body classes. "Fusion" of formats to achieve optimal calorie burning results. Movements incorporate balance, strength, and functional training while emphasizing elements of Pilates, Yoga, Dance, and Sports.

POWER SCULPT

A high-voltage workout with resistive equipment. Muscle strength and endurance are the goals of this class. No dancing or any other choreography allowed. Show up ready to sweat and pump some iron.

YOGA

Come alive with this invigorating class designed to improve balance and healing, while emphasizing strength and flexibility. Yoga is about working hard, sensitively.

SKINNY JEANS

Skinny Jeans combines cardio and sculpt for your lower half and abs for your middle. Guaranteed to get you into-or staying in-those skinny jeans!

SPIN

Come and join an exciting cycling class! This group fitness class will have you sweating and spinning to the beat. Great music, fun & challenging workouts! You'll walk away wanting more!!

STAYING FIT

Begin again with this low impact aerobics class designed for those new to aerobics, those starting back, and senior adults. Muscle conditioning plus flexibility segments help enhance the overall conditioning of all ages.

TAI CHI & STRETCH

Tai Chi-style, internal martial arts class with no impact movements. Stretching, breathing & Qi Gong are all major components of this class! NEW!!!

WATER AEROBICS

Aerobic conditioning is performed in the pool with little or no impact. Work is done in both shallow and deep water. This class will also help develop strength, flexibility & joint mobility.

ZUMBA

Zumba is a Latin-based floor aerobics class. Great music & for ALL fitness levels.
