Youth Sports

Tackle Football - Played in the Fall time (August - November), YMCA Tackle Football allows children between the ages of 8 and 12 to participate in a football development league. No scores are results are recorded, and every child plays at least 50% of the game. Teams are loosely organized along school affiliations.   Flag Football - Played in the Fall time (August - November), YMCA Flag Football allows children between the ages of 4 and to participate in a football development league. No scores are results are recorded, and every child plays at least 50% of the game. Teams are loosely organized along school affiliations.
Soccer - A Fall and Spring sport, YMCA Soccer provides a fun, age appropriate atmosphere for boys and girls ages 3 and up to play, enjoy and learn skills within the game of soccer. Volunteer Coaches are provided with coaching techniques.
Basketball - A winter sport, YMCA basketball is for boys and girls ages 3 to 14. The league is open to existing teams and individual players. A developmental league, no prior experience necessary.

T-ball - A Spring/Summer sport, T-ball is for boys and girls ages 3-6. Children are taught the basic rules and skills of the Baseball/Softball. 

Volleyball- New to the YMCA of NWLA, Volleyball is the second most popular sport in the United States. Currently offered to 5th through 8th graders, this is a developmental sport with no prior experience necessary.
